ABOUT ANDREA

With a lifelong love of art, I began exploring abstract painting after discovering the works of Cy Twombly and Mark Rothko. My journey evolved as I started experimenting with textured coastal paintings, inspired by visits to Greece and a bookstore in Seaside, Florida. The stunning waters of Balos Lagoon and Elafonisi Beach, along with a book on aerial photography of the Emerald Coast, sparked this new style. I create acrylic abstracts inspired by my favorite artists and my love of color, as well as textured multimedia coastal pieces that reflect the beauty of nature. My goal is to craft colorful, playful artworks that appeal to both children and adults, alongside serene coastal abstracts suited for homes and professional spaces. Designing tranquil landscapes and soothing abstracts for hospital environments has inspired my latest color palettes and enriched my passion for art. I aspire to produce a variety of beautiful, meaningful pieces for curators, designers, and art enthusiasts.
